Soy is nature's richest plant protein source which is the perfect building block for Sestec’s range of biogenic board adhesives for interior applications such as flooring and furniture, and for specialty non-wood fiber applications.
We only use soy protein that is a byproduct of the non-fossil fuel production. Thus, our soy protein binders do not compete with human food supply.
Sestec’s soy adhesives are very efficient binders for the manufacturing of fossil-free MDF, also particleboards, and a multitude of alternative fiber composites. Without the need for hardeners or catalysts Sestec’s soy adhesives are very reactive and versatile.
There is no need to adjust presses and production parameters. Sestec’s soy NAF adhesives are truly non-toxic and can be stored up to one year.
